What's coming to Disney Cruise Line — Disney cruise top pool deck at night

Before we dive into everything that's coming, let's recap the past couple of years. Both 2024 and 2025 were BIG years for Disney Cruise Line. A second island destination, Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, opened in June 2024. (Of course, your favorite frog family was there on opening day and it was frogtastic!) Hop over to our tropical guide to Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point for all the details.

Also for 2024, the Disney Dream received several refurbishments, including Disney's Oceaneer Club, a brand-new funnel suite, a new concierge lounge and a revitalized spa.

The second Wish Class ship, the Disney Treasure — sister to the Disney Wish and all-new Disney Destiny (more on that below) — made her debut in December 2024. The anticipation for this ship was SUPER exciting. The overall design is inspired by Walt Disney's passion for adventure and exploration. Additionally, the Disney Treasure has "Aladdin," "Pocohantas," "Up" and "Encanto" themed staterooms. And Plaza De Coco is the new Rotational Dining venue.

The AquaMouse received a new storyline, Curse of the Golden Egg. And "Disney The Tale of Moana" premiered as the new Broadway-style show onboard. Be sure to visit our full Disney Treasure ship guide for more information.

In late 2025, the Disney Destiny made her grand debut. Departing from Fort Lauderdale, the Disney Destiny now offers cruises to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean. Stops include Disney’s island destinations, Castaway Cay and/or Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

In 2026, there are three- to seven-night itineraries to choose from. Themed spaces showcase both heroes and villains. Staterooms are decorated after Disney’s iconic characters such as Hercules and Big Hero 6.
